David and Alex met in Mexico in 2019 while David was working at a factory in Alex's home town of Agua Prieta. After dating for almost 2 years, and many months apart while waiting for our K1 visa, we were able to be together again in 2021 when Alex was able to legally move to the United States!

We initially moved to Painesville but found it to be quite monochromatic (All white) and lacking any real diversity. We later moved to University Heights in 2022, drawn to this area because of the racial and cultural diversity it offers.
